Last night he sent me this SMS,
I just laughed when I read his SMS.
Then he sent one email..and when I read it..I agree with certain points he rise up.. especially the politik nilai part. We(mahasiswa, ngee~) tend to forget that we are not POLITICIAN..but we are acting like one. Act as a STATEMAN not as a POLITICIAN!
Pesanan Untuk Diri;
Andai Islam itu tertegak di Constantinople oleh sebaik-baik pemimpin dan sebaik-baik tentera, maka pasti Islam di Uni Malaya boleh ditegakkan andai kita adalah pemimpin yang ADIL dan AMANAH! The wolrd is moving, are we standing still or are we moving..? Zaman..berubah..manusia berubah..cara memimpin pon kenala ubah, =P Mereka [senior2] telah mencipta zaman mereka sendiri, Ayuh lakar sejarah zaman kita pula..jgn terlalu dibayangi zaman mereka!!!
O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do. Al-Maidah :8
Come on people..change the way you lead..
Change the way you treat your enemies
We need to change..
We need to revamp..
We urge people to change..but how about us..?
The Questions are..
Are we ready for that..?
Are we ready to left all tradition behind..?
NEW LEADERS..the answers are in your hand!
p/s : dua post yang digabung..
p/s/s : kalau tak phm buat2 phm kaitan antara kedua2 nya =P
The Frogs Jumping

can u catch me..?
I am never in good moods since days ago, mainly because of the coup in Perak. Never in my mind that my birth state will experience such situation, in the time where the supports of the people towards Pakatan starts to grow, particularly because of the good governance that they practiced. The blame game and accusation starts to fire up, with Pakatan rakyat suffers the most. What can they do? Apart from licking its own wound, they cannot take the higher ground saying BN is playing “dirty tricks”. This mess started since after the march 8, where PR drew the first blood. Anwar and other PKR leader have been putting up effort to lure the BN MPs to defects and crossover, setting September 16 as the dateline, and claiming such defections were democratic in principled. As a saying goes, if you play with fire you’ll get yourself burn. Obviously BN has the power and resources to win this game. This time the Pakatan has to pay a heavy price of losing a state. Apparently Anwar should be blamed for this tragedy. Had he not impatient enough to take over the federal government, this thing might not happen. Furthermore PR (especially PKR) should blame themselves for not fielding quality candidate and some even don’t have strong principles.
In order to understand the situation better we need to have a quick look into the constitution. As stated by Dr Shad Saleem Faruqi, under the federal and state constitutions, the Sultan has the right to refuse a request for premature dissolution. It means that the Sultan has the right to refuse Ir. Nizar’s request to dissolve the Assembly. Quoting from him on the confidence of the Assembly, he states that Tuanku Sultan was faced with difficult choices of first: Prorogued (discontinue the meeting) the Assembly until the courts decides on the validity of the hoppers resignation and question of vacancies, and two: he could ask the antagonist to face the Assembly to prove their support, and to propose to have a vote of no confidence. The Constitution of Perak in Article 16(7) states that a member of the Executive Council other than the MB shall hold the office at Sultan’s pleasure. This shows that MB can only be dismissed through the vote of no Confidence in the Assembly. This is what happens in Perak. This is why Ir. Nizar refused and mohon derhaka for not stepping down as MB. Ir. Nizar is right to steadfast to his position because in Perak the question of losing confidence was not constitutionally investigated, and he is still the valid MB, as rightly chosen by the people.
The arguments evolved around who started first and who is making the mistakes in their decision but the main problems remain unanswered. The practice of party hopping should not be allowed since the beginning, regardless towards the better or worse. Whoever wins, the loser will be the people, whose ballots are worthless now. A study made by the Merdeka Centre shows that most of people vote the candidate not because of their personality, but because of the colour of their party. Most of the candidates are not like Tengku Razaleigh or Sharir Samad who even though they change party and become independent a couple of times, they still won the election (which shows people choose them rather than their party). By changing parties they have betrayed their voters. Should they choose to switch parties, the representatives must, in my opinion step down from being MP and let the people choose whether to follow or not (but there’s provision where those who step down are barred to contest again for 5 years). This power grabbing practice should not be our preference as students (mahasiswa) with intellectuals. We (mahasiswa) should against this practice, regardless of which side started first. Instead we should promote the value politics (politik nilai), which sees power as just tools to serve and educate people, and the main agenda is to educate and inculcating good values in the society, rather than to promote power politics (politik kuasa) which sees possession of powers as the main agenda (gila kuasa?). Take AKP of Turkey for examples which focus on building the society first before moving into taking over the Government. Unfortunately this is just the hopes and dreams that not many people shared. With both side still reluctant and kept asking the other side to start proposing the anti-hopping law first, I wonder whether they really want it to happen, or still pray that more people from the other side to start “frogging” to their side. We must try hard to promote and inculcate this point of views, so that if not now perhaps in the near future the situation will change.
