very often, when a relationship doesn't work out, we almost always seem to conclude that we are not good enough...
my dear friend, honestly, a relationship doesn't work out not because we are not good enough but because perhaps it wasn't love in the first place.
In love, there needs to be a mutual desire to unify the 2 individual love (my love for you and your love for me) into one through reciprocal gift of self to the other.
when reciprocity is missing, then that 'love' was not love to beign with.
very often, we mistaken sensuality or sentimentality for love. sensuality, is the deep attraction to the value of one's body and sentimentality is the deep attraction to the values seen in the whole person (eg humility, caring, independent, protective etc.). Both of which are a part of love and yet not love itself. Love is affirmation to the value of the person (which is different from the values seen in the person).
Know that you will find love. Love as how it is objectively. Don't restrict yourself or hold yourself back from the many gifts God is offering you, LOVE being one of the primary gifts.
Trust Him and move forward. Know and believe that you are a Gift first and that you will receive many good things only if you allow yourself to.
